Question:

Will you be increasing your marketing efforts in the New York metropolitan area as a result of Sandy? I see a lot of gas being flared from sewage treatment plants. Are you going after that business?

Yes, Capstone’s distribution partners are stepping up their marketing across the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states in all the markets we serve, including wastewater treatment plants.

Will Capstone Turbine Corp be an exhibitor at Power-Gen International in Orlando FL on Dec. 11–13?

Capstone was an exhibitor at Power-Gen International in Orlando, Florida on December 11–13, 2012 and plans to be an exhibitor at Power-Gen Europe in Vienna, Austria June 4–6, 2013.

Question:

How much of your money comes from government funding, if any? 


Answer from Capstone Management:

Capstone receives Department of Energy funding on certain Product Development Programs like the C250/C370 program. Funding varies from year to year. Please refer to Capstone’s Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and other recent filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission for more information.

Question:

I'm just wondering if to help make further progress into Hotels, Hospitals, and other large complexes, Capstone should be directing marketing energies toward Architectural Firms specializing in those structures. This could be through trade magazines or Architectural Seminars of which I'm sure many exist. Anything to open a door and continue to expand the company is a good thing.

Capstone and its distribution partners have been and will continue to target the architectural community with both direct and indirect marketing campaigns. Capstone and its partners hold frequent educational “lunch and learn” sessions at targeted firms. In addition, Capstone’s new IPad App which is available for download at the Apple App Store is a rendered city designed to educate end users on the benefits of microturbines and distributed generation.

Have you considered focusing on India as a market? A large percentage of the Industry in India generates their own power, Capstone products will do very well there.

CICB is a well-established company with over three decades of experience in Marketing, Consulting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management and Service.
