Darren R. Jamison
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jamison joined Capstone Turbine Corporation on December 18, 2006.
Mr. Jamison most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer
of Northern Power Systems, Inc. At Northern Power, he more than tripled sales
over a 2-year period. He broadened their offering to include product and
service business and instituted a number of successful acquisitions. Prior to
joining Northern, Mr. Jamison was Vice President and General Manager of Distributed
Energy Solutions for Steward & Stevenson Services, Inc. from 1994 to 2003.
He holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Finance from Seattle University.
Ed Reich
Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Effective February 11, 2008, Mr. Reich has assumed the role of Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer of Capstone Turbine Corporation. Mr. Reich has served as the
Company’s Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis since August 2005 and has
over 17 years of financial management experience. Prior to joining Capstone, he was employed
by Kistler Aerospace Corporation, where he served as Corporate Controller.
Mr. Reach is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California and is a member
of Financial Executives International.
Mark Gilbreth
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Effective January 30,2007, Mr. Gilbreth was appointed as Executive Vice President
and Chief Technology Officer. From April - July 2006, he served as
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and from August - December 18, 2006,
he served as interim President and CEO.
Prior to joining Capstone Mr. Gilbreth held several
positions of increasing responsibility at Sundstrand Power Systems including
lead engineer for the JAS39 and V22 APU controls development. He joined
Capstone Turbine Corporation in 1995 to pioneer the development of the
electronic control system for the 30kW MicroTurbine system. Since that time, he
has held several engineering management positions leading technology
development, which has resulted in several US Patents. Other positions at
Capstone include Director Customer Service from 2001 to 2003, Program Manager
of Capstone’s Reliability Tiger Team from 2003 to 2004, and Vice
President Engineering from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Gilbreth received his Bachelors
degree from San Diego State University.
James D. Crouse
Executive Vice President of Sales
Mr. Crouse joined Capstone Turbine Corporation on February 5, 2007. Prior to joining
Capstone, Mr. Crouse spent more than 20 years developing distributed generation projects
for customers with Stewart & Stevenson, Crown Engineering & Construction and other companies.
Mr. Crouse was General Manager, Gas Engine Group for Valley Power Systems, the GE Jenbacher
distributor and most recently President of Navitas Consulting where he specialized in assisting
client companies with growing their businesses. Mr. Crouse has extensive experience with large
installations of gas and diesel engines and has worked with clients and manufacturers
in North America, Europe, South America, China and Canada. Mr. Crouse is a member of the
California Association of Building Energy Consultants, and he is a licensed
General Engineering Contractor “A” in California.
Leigh L. Estus
Senior Vice President of Operations
Mr. Estus joined Capstone Turbine Corporation on November 7, 2005. Prior to
Capstone, Mr. Estus most recently served as Director of Operations at the
communications & countermeasures systems division of EDO Corporation
(NYSE:EDO). Prior to his employment with EDO, Mr. Estus spent more than 16
years with BAE Systems, where he held the positions of Vice President of
Operations and Director of Support Solutions. Prior to BAE Systems, Mr. Estus
was employed by Whittaker Electronics Systems and Hughes Aircraft Company. He
is a Six Sigma Champion and member of the American Management Association and
Manufacturers’ Alliance for Productivity and Innovation.
Shelby Ahmann
Senior Vice President, Customer Service
Mr. Ahmann joined Capstone on April 3, 2007. Mr. Ahmann most recently
served as Vice President of Global Services for the Power Advantage group
of Northern Power Systems, Inc. Prior to joining Northern, Mr. Ahmann was
Vice President of Crown Engineering & Construction (CEC). In addition,
` Mr. Ahmann has held progressively responsible engineering positions for
organizations in the Portland and Seattle areas. He brings to Capstone a
wealth of experience in successfully developing and managing national and
internatonal energy programs and services
Larry N. Colson
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Larry Colson joined Capstone on June 19, 2006. Prior to joining Capstone, Mr.
Colson was Vice President, Human Resources at Advanced Bionics (a Boston
Scientific Company), Prior to that he was Vice President, Human Resources at Alpha
Therapeutic Corporation, For over 15 years, Mr. Colson served as Vice
President, Human Resources at the Data Systems Division of Litton Industries, a
multi-billion dollar worldwide producer of advanced electronic systems.
He was also recruited to join UNOVA, as Vice President, Human Resources
for this global supplier of mobile information technologies,
wireless networks for e-commerce fulfillment and industrial automation systems.
