Gas Pipeline
Five C30s, with two more awaiting siting, are the primary sources of remote power for a gas pipeline transporting 30 million cubic meters per day of natural gas @ 995 psig between Bolivia and Brazil. The Capstone systems are fueled by natural gas and are linked/dispatched by satellite communication via SCADA with ModBus translators on the Capstone systems.

Offshore Platforms
More than a dozen C30s and C60s fueled by unprocessed wellhead gas are operating 24x7 on the manned and unmanned offshore platforms of several major oil companies in the Gulf of Mexico. Operators particularly enjoy the once-annual scheduled maintenance (the cost to transport a crew and equipment to a platform to service/repair a reciprocating engine genset can amount to half the engine's capital cost). They also appreciate the complete lack of hazardous fluids (spill and leaks on offshore platforms can be extremely costly) and other advantages.
